Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) of St. Mary’s & St. Ann’s Parish exists to foster the spiritual growth and pastoral vitality of our parish community. Together with the Pastor, the Council works prayerfully to discern God’s will for the parish and to help shape our mission in the light of the Gospel.
Our Council reflects the richness of our parish — a family of faith committed to worship, service, and community life in the Diocese of St. Catharines.
💒 Purpose and Mission
The Parish Pastoral Council serves as a consultative body that assists the Pastor in:
Strengthening the spiritual and pastoral life of the parish.
Encouraging lay participation in ministry and mission.
Discerning and developing pastoral priorities.
Supporting initiatives in evangelization, faith formation, and stewardship.
Building unity between St. Mary’s, Hagersville and St. Ann’s, Walpole parish families.
All decisions are rooted in prayer, discernment, and collaboration, guided by the Holy Spirit. ✨

🗓️ Meetings
The Parish Pastoral Council meets monthly (except July and August).
Meetings begin with prayer and reflection, followed by discussion of parish goals, ministries, and community concerns.
A brief summary of key decisions and upcoming initiatives is usually shared in the parish bulletin or during parish announcements.
🌿 Spiritual Focus
Our Pastoral Council is not a management board — it is a community of faith and service. We begin and end each meeting with prayer, seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we serve Christ’s mission in Hagersville and beyond.
